I have a copy of the ABC’s from TMBG. Which is really cool. My daughter and I liked it so much I had to see if they had any other dvd’s out. So I found here on amazon they had the 123’s, so I had to purchase it. I love it, my daughter loves it. Both dvd’s are educational and very creative, not to mention it also has an affiliation with Disney. My daughter will just sit there and watch the whole thing without getting bored, she’s only 8 mo. and has been watching the ABC’s since she was only a few months old. If TMBG had more dvd’s out I would buy them too, I wish they did.I’m in awe (2008-04-14)
I got it, put the CD on to distract the kids while I cleared up the kitchen, and a few tracks in I’m totally distracted by the music myself and starting to dance (ack, stop, let go, I have to do dishes!).

There are some gorgeous songs on here, and many of them somehow hit that sweet spot of sensibility that persists between 3 and 50 and makes us all really really happy. Brilliant.

The videos are all great too, beautiful funny zappy artwork by several different artists, not a dud in there and many of them amp up the songs to an extra level. Both videos and songs can stand alone, though of course now I’ve got their visuals in my head.

I’d say my least favorite are the theme songs for the Disney shows, but the heck with it, they’re still charming, are a million rhythmic and melodic miles from Raffi, the kids like them, and I’d give the rest 10 stars if I could.

You’ll Be Singing Along, Too (2008-04-12)
I purchased this along with TMBG’s “Here come the ABCs” as I was quickly getting tired of most of the children’s CDs we have (either saccharine-sweet or folksy). As a TMBG fan from way back, I knew what to expect, and was not disappointed! Right now, the quirky wordplay is more for me than my son (he’s only 10 months old), but he rocks out to the music. I can’t wait to hear him sing along to “Triops” and all the other great tunes when he gets older!
