For Skaters Rather Than Fans (2005-11-11)
Skating magazine is more for figure skaters rather than the fans. It has unique columns for figure skaters that other magazines do not offer such as Health and Fitness and Ask Mr. Edge. With a new editor, this magazine has become a little more fan friendly, regularly featuring cover stories on skaters and featuring a new Where Are They Now column. If you are a figure skating fan looking for an exciting magazine that features articles covering today’s top skaters, try Blades on Ice or International Figure Skating.Not worth your money (2004-07-04)
I know that some people find bad reveiws annoying, but before you spend $30 on this magazine subscription, read this first!! I received it for a whole year, and let me tell you, it was a waste of money. There are pretty good pictures, and it’s kinda interesting, but the articles are REALLY short, there’s a lot of useless information, and it lasts about 1/2 hour before you’ve read the whole thing and are ready for the next one. I was very dissapointed. This year I’m gonna try "BLADES ON ICE" instead, because it sounds 1000x better that this mag. Well, hope I’ve just saved you $30!! And if not, well….I told you so…Skating Review (2003-05-29)
I recieve SKATING magazine through my USFSA membership and I highly recommend it. It is filled with great skating stuff and info. It has all the things for a skater!!
