I have read this magazine since 1998. Its scholarship is impeccable and the topics are interesting and varied. It is written for the scholar as well as the person interested in the subject. Based in Great Britain, its editorial staff are scholars of the highest caliber–Britain has alway taken its archaelogy very seriously. The current editor strives to have different schools of thought represented here. The quarterly issued are just packed with articles, not just two or three main articles as some magazines. The book reviews are also written by scholars. This journal will give you the latest information as well as techniques of archaeology from all over the world.

I cannot recommend it highly enough. The best.

Individuals can get a suscription for about 3/4 less than the one quoted in the magazine information. The price quoted is for institutions such as libraries.
